Welcome to Your Health Service

Djerriwarrh Health Services (DjHS) serves the rapidly expanding population of Melton and Moorabool Shires.  The population is forecast to grow from the estimated 100,000 (2006) to 123,000 (2011) and 144,000 (2016).  This predicted growth presents many challenges for the future and will place enormous demand on the already limited resources of DjHS.

Grant Lodge is a 30 bed ‘high level care’ aged care facility offering six single, ten double and one four-bed room. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared.

In 1996, a multi-purpose Activity Centre was completed.  ‘The Haven’ is a focal point for care recipients to participate in a variety of leisure activities.

The Haven contains a formal dining area as well as informal areas, which may be used to hold family get-togethers or celebrate significant events.  This has been a helpful addition for families whose relative is very frail and unable to leave the facility.
